"Down here at Cape Spartel is the celebrated cave of Hercules, where the hero took refuge when he was vanquished and driven out of the Tangier country. It is full of inscriptions in the dead languages, which fact makes me think Hercules could not have traveled much, else he would not have kept a journal."

About Me

Greetings to you all! I was an exchange student to Austria for a year, which is where the title for this blog originated. Now I am home for my senior year in high school and am doing my best to keep up with the day-to-day without an exciting backdrop. I am an amateur violist, a reader, a movie-watcher, an occasional bike rider and hiker, a believer, a procrastinator, a forgetter-of-names,  a daughter, a sister, and a collector of earrings and vintage gloves. Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you enjoy reading about what I'm up to!
